A few days ago, I wrote about why going through Hurricane Sandy made me adore my husband even more. For all those who have incredible spouses, why wait for a natural disaster (or other such event) to appreciate your spouse deeply? I’ve decided to dedicate every Tuesday to the celebration of incredible spouses, and the celebration of life’s beauties – big and small. Though life and marriage aren’t always perfect, there’s always something to be thankful for! Please join me.

For little girls (almost) everywhere, fairy tales and Disney stories forever seared the search for “Prince Charming” into their hearts. From childhood to adulthood, the wait for Prince Charming would become very very real.

Though I believe that certain aspects of fairy tales can skew people’s realities (because there are absolutely no perfect people), I do know that many women are blessed enough to find their Prince Charming: the man who is great for them. My husband is my Prince Charming.

Everyday (okay, almost everyday. This is the real world, after all ), I am deeply thankful for the fact that I found my Prince Charming. I am blessed to live life next to a man who fascinates and delights me in little and huge ways. I am blessed that a new layer of wonder and friendship is added with the passing days.

I celebrate the fact that husband still charms the socks off me.
